  From Lorraine Fisher: For some reason, Mary Katz (Schrire) apparently denounced having a brother. Started with family politics way back when when there was jealousy over my mom's relationship with Esther Katz (her mother in law)! So sad when you think that there was a time when Mary loved my dad enough to write a book of bedtime stories for him, called "Giggi's bedtime stories". ("Giggi" was my dad's nickname as I think it was Bertha who (as a baby) couldn't pronounce "Julius" and it somehow landed up as "Giggi", which stuck.) The story goes that this book was actually published.
