• Notes

  Elka and her husband and children were very successful in the clothing business in Riga and were very reluctant to follow requests of other family members to leave Latvia. They were involved with toiletries and dressmaking and owned several homes and a summer home. They were killed at their summer home in about 1939 or 1940.
