  Marcelle Flax was 72 years young, the first of four children, born at the Frangwen Nursing Home. Marcelle grew up and went to school in Kensington. Marcelle had golden hands and embroidered her own Shabbat table cloths. Marcelle was a lovely, quiet, peaceful, respectful, sensitive, kind, generous, thoughtful, dutiful, extremely hospitable person and had a good sense of humour Marcelle was always a dedicated general office worker. She was a valued employee for many years at both the Zionist Federation and El Al. At El Al she was also very ably in charge of security as she was exceptionally observant. Marcelle was living in Israel in the 70s and returned home due to her father’s illness. Marcelle passed away suddenly and will be sorely missed by all.
