| Notes |
- From Phil Krastman:
"Dena Goldberg left home at a young age not learning how to read or write. Dena was schooled in cooking and homemaking. She went off with a cousin who was to be wed. Dena was going along as a paid housekeeper so she could earn passage to America, where she was sponsored by her uncle who was the US Secret Service agent stationed at the White House in Washington, DC. Once off the boat and in Baltimore she was introduced to Solomon Millner a Jew living with relatives in Welsh West Virginia, where the family owned the bar, hotel, general store, Optometry and Jewelry establishments. Dena would not go to Welsh W.Va. so they settled in Baltimore City MD where they set up a
Real Estate and Grocery Business. They lost money in Real Estate but
made a living in the Grocery business. "
